Interpublic Group reports losses

Interpublic Group, the parent company of FutureBrand and Jack Morton, has reported a net loss of $5.4m (£2.9m) for the second quarter of the year, although this is lower than the $13.5m (£7.4m) loss during the same period last year. The company said its financial position improved in a year-on-year comparison, showing a return to organic growth for the first time since 2001.
