Edrington Group-owned The Macallan has relaunched its entire whisky portfolio, with packaging, bottle and label designs by Design Bridge. The bottles take their cues from 19th century designs, and labelling boasts a classically drawn illustration. ‘Our inspiration came from The Macallan’s luxury positioning and its sensuous spirit,’ says Design Bridge group creative director Graham Shearsby. The London group also created all point-of-sale materials, giftware and merchandising. The range rolls out in early September.

This year’s competition invited designers in training to revamp the cover of three well-known books across adult fiction, adult non-fiction and children’s literature.
The new branding centres upon a dynamic R logo, which intends to evoke the “gestural quality of a dancer in motion”.
The UK-based social organisation has a new name, five-year strategy plan and “dynamic, moving identity” system.
