The Partners led the design field in last week’s Donside Graphic Design & Print Awards, securing two of the six design gold awards.

The Partners’ golds were awarded for a calendar for Thrislington Cubicles and a corporate brochure for Citibank. Addison, Ian Chilvers, HGV and Spanish consultancy Grafica each won a gold. Grafica also won Donside’s special award.

Stocks Austin Sice won the best overall UK entry and a silver with the annual statement for BZW. Other silver winners included Bamber Forsyth, Agenda Design, Stephen Coates, Derek Forsyth Partnership and Radley Yeldar. Williams and Phoa picked up two bronzes for corporate brochures.

Now in its tenth year, the Donside Awards scheme is to change in name and format next year. The “Consort Royal era Awards” will be linked to the Chartered Society of Designers. UK Paper and the CSD are to launch a nationwide series of talks called Coming Home.

Leading designers will be invited to give a talk close to where they were originally from, the event being tied in with an exhibition of award-winning work.

Other changes to the awards include new categories – for corporate stationery and paper-based packaging.

Pauffley PRL and its clients Tate & Lyle and Nat West Group notched up two successes at the ProShare awards for shareholder communications.
