Alsop takes on Liverpool job

The Alsop Consortium has won a competition run by Liverpool Vision commission to design the Fourth Grace building on Liverpool’s waterfront. Three structures, linked by pedestrian walkways and combining retail, residential and exhibition spaces, are planned.

A spokeswoman for the consortium says the project ‘will create opportunities for a broad range’ of design disciplines, including exhibition, lighting, landscape and interior design groups. The project is due to be completed by 2007.
