Law firm sites Neoco for rebrand

Neoco Design has revamped City law firm Carter Lemon Camerons’ website, in the final part of a broader identity and brand revamp as the practice moves to extend its international reach.

The site, scheduled to go live today, integrates the law firm’s new identity, also created by Neoco following the merger in 2000 of Carter Lemon and Camerons, with a redesign of its visual and functional elements.

The group has also revamped the law firm’s brochures, stationery and promotional material and is believed to have earned a five-figure fee for the work.

According to Carter Lemon Camerons partner Andrew Firman, the objective of the refreshed look is to make it easier for clients and potential clients – especially those in territories the firm is targeting for expansion – to use the site as a legal information resource.

‘We needed to cater to our global clients, existing and potential, by providing something far more interactive that would assist them in the whole process of being instructed,’ says Firman.

Neoco creative director and project manager Benn Achilleas says the consultancy was briefed to introduce cleaner visuals and more interactivity to the site.

‘We have introduced pastel hues, as well as bullet points and hot links. It’s all about the firm presenting itself as professional, but approachable,’ he says.

Achilleas says the group hopes to reel in more law firm clients – an area it feels is ripe for exploitation – on the back of the work.
