Clerkenwell branding consultancy Design Bridge seems to be having problems with its own-brand image.
First client management director Jill Marshall was harangued by a taxi driver for the continued delays caused by work in progress at the road bridge over the nearby Farringdon rail track. ‘That’s what you do innit? Design bridges?’ scolded the cabbie.
Now her colleague David Rivett has received an e-mail from a student in Angola, requesting help with a competition entry. ‘I am designing a bridge 27ins long to be built of McDonalld [sic] straws. The bridge will have to carry 10lb weight. Could you please suggest some idea to me, if you have time…’
