Diesel to open flagship Bond St store

Diesel is planning to open a new flagship store on London’s Bond Street this April.

The two-floor 52m2 store is being designed by an in-house team that has incorporated the building’s original features into the design. ‘We want to stay true to the Bond Street tradition, but give it a Diesel twist,’ says its spokesman.

Situated on the corner of New Bond Street and Grosvenor Street, the store is set to be Diesel’s showcase, replacing the Earlham Street store in Covent Garden as London’s flagship. The Covent Garden store was redesigned in 2004 by Diesel Interior design manager Michelle Trevisan (DW 26 August 2004).

Accessories, luggage and footwear will dominate the entrance, with male and female collections on the upper floor.
