Design student hopes to speed up snail mail

The postman always delivers, unless, of course, it’s Christmas. Now he can do it, or not do it, on three wheels with the launch of The Royal Mail ‘Scootable’ prototype, designed by Westley Bloxham, a final-year design student at De Montfort University, at the New Designers exhibition in London.

The Royal Mail, it seems, believes three wheels are better than two, which are better than walking. We say, three wheels fine, two wheels just as good, whatever, we’re all using e-mail anyway.
