Rea may know his onions, but we’re not convinced

Always looking to notch ridiculous consultancy names on the bedpost, our eyes lit up at Chad Rea’s ‘youth and entertainment brand communications collective’ 86 the Onions.

According to the Mother and KesselsKramer veteran, the term comes from short-order cookery lingo – as in ‘will ya lose/nix/86 those onions already?’

Reclining somewhere in a deck chair on Venice Beach, Rea says 86 the Onions is ‘conducting an on-going, international search for pop culture junkies to collaborate on a wide range of youth and entertainment projects’.

Altogether now, ‘We wish we all could be California, braaaaaand researchers.’
