Runner-up Azagury-Partridge gives some lip service

Solange Azagury-Partridge might have been beaten to the £25 000 Designer of the Year award by that bloke from Apple, but fashion journo Jamie Huckbody still loves her, if the glowing profile in last Thursday’s Independent is anything to go by.

The best bit? ‘The name Boucheron informs [my designs],’ says a pouting Partridge. ‘In French, “bouche” is mouth and “ron” sounds like “rond”, which is round: a round mouth! Very sexy.’
