This is a brief message to bid a sad farewell to the talented creative Tim Hetherington [a war photographer who was killed in Libya last month]. Tim won first prize in my photography contest, where he talked passionately about his work and journeys ahead. Here’s a well done on a touching body of work and great courage. Kindest thoughts to all those he left behind.

Stacey Hunter is the director of Local Heroes – a new initiative which looks to dispel outdated ideas of Scottish design.
