David Carroll has worked on the first book from fledgling Dark Angels Press, for which he is art director.
The book is a novella, The Angel of the Stories, by John Simmonds, who set up the company to publish limited-edition books by business and copywriters. The hardback, cloth-covered book features 21 illustrations by Anita Klein and is limited to 500 copies.
Simmonds is a former director of Newell and Sorrell and director of verbal identity at Interbrand.
It is hoped that the novella will be followed by the publication of other books written by alumni of the Dark Angels courses which are for business and copywriters and are also runby Simmonds.
