‘Caravan parks’ of mobile filing units, hot-desking and a café are incorporated into Morey Smith’s design for Warner Music inside London’s famous Hoover Building. Eighty staff will be accommodated in the 1200m2 offices, which will occupy three floors of the Grade II* listed landmark. Morey Smith’s 650 000 scheme will include open-plan working to make the most of the building’s natural light. Morey Smith is planning colourful furniture and ‘drop-in’ spaces on each team to meet Warner’s brief for a lively, buzzing environment. The scheme will be completed in the New Year.

Bhs’ new store concept at Fosse Park near Leicester takes full account of customers’ frame of mind when shopping in a large-scale edge-of-town outlet. 20/20, which created the interiors, developed clear in-store segmentation using macro-scale environmental graphics. The consultancy was responsible for the Bhs Millennium concept which, launched in 1995, was rolled out across the chain.
