Three founding members of Manchester ad agency BDH TBWA’s design division have left to form their own consultancy.

Simon Carroll, Andy Moulton and Steve Fletcher have set up identity and brand packaging group Into in Manchester. All three left five-strong Insight, part of BDH TBWA.

The group is already working on unnamed projects for automotive, health and beauty, leisure, travel and brewing clients. Into “will compete internationally with consultancies of the calibre of Design Bridge, Jones Knowles Ritchie and Elmwood”, says managing director Simon Carroll.

Meanwhile, BDH TBWA has merged its second design arm Compendium into Insight, which is being headed by Sarah Parker.

Parker declines to comment on the departure of Carroll and his colleagues.

This year’s annual report for The American School in London features pictures by some of the college’s 1200 pupils. ‘We think this gives the document a feeling of life and vitality,’ says Dianne Ceresa, managing director of Synergy which designed the report and the school’s publicity material. ‘All the designs are deliberately bright and positive,’ Ceresa adds. Grace Carlock in Grade 3 is the artist behind the front cover portrait.
