Several more consultancies have confirmed their presence on Tesco’s packaging design roster, and have been told which sectors they will be working on.
Tesco’s outgoing design manager Richard Murphy declines to comment on the identity of the roster groups (DW 30 October). Around ten groups are believed to comprise the core roster, including three-strong Hertford group Martin Design which will be working on household and impulse buys. Fifteen-strong Hurricane in Oxford will work on toy packaging and is waiting to hear on other sectors. Six-strong Camden group Chen Tsoi Design is also on the roster.
Other consultancies believed to be on the list include Williams Murray Banks, Ocean and Brandworks.
Hurricane has redesigned Sara Lee’s Radox Herbal Bath range, which has a 15 per cent market share in the UK.
