00% Design draws 9000

Ninety per cent of exhibitors at this month’s 100% Design show are expected to re-book space next year, confirms Rachel Robin, the event’s co-ordinator. The show, which took place from 1 to 4 October in London, attracted 9000 visitors, more than 7000 of whom were architects, retailers and interior designers.

“There was a good cross-section of visitors, though I’d say it needs a bit more targeting of mainstream architects,” says exhibitor James Mair, managing director of Viaduct Furniture.

Exhibitor Sheridan Coakley, managing director of furniture distributor SCP, says the show filled “a gap which has long existed in the market”. Robin adds: “We expect the exhibitors to take bigger stands next year. The feeling is very positive.”
