It can’t be much fun at the moment for rugger bugger Will Carling, what with splitting up with Julia and job problems.

He cheered himself up last Sunday morning with a cuppa outside Delicafé, a delicatessen and coffee joint in London’s Fulham. Brian Moore, the solicitor-cum-rugby player without a tooth in his head, was there for moral support.

A photo duly appeared in the national newspapers, much to the delight of Brian Galloway, creative director at London consultancy Galloway & Co Рand the designer of Delicaf̩.

“We created a corporate identity a month ago, we didn’t expect to be famous so soon,” says Galloway. The incident was picked up by Evening Standard cartoonist Jak, who unfortunately spelt it ‘Dellicafé’. “He’s altering it, and has sold it to the café for 300,” says Galloway.

Apparently, Ken and Em and Hugh and Liz live in the same area. Perhaps Delicafé will become a haunt for famous troubled lovers and their best mates.
