The Conran Foundation; Remix: Art of the Information Age; Brand.New; Dreaming in Digital2; Artville

Editorial director of Wallpaper magazine Tyler Brûlé has been chosen by The Conran Foundation to acquire a selection of desirable design objects for this year’s collection. An exhibition of his choices will run from 13 October to 19 November.

Venue: Design Museum, 28 Shad Thames, London SE1.

Remix: Art of the Information Age is an exhibition showcasing the creative use of digital media, highlighting the link between art and technology. It runs until 31 October.

Venue: ICA, The Mall, London SW1.

Brand.New is an exhibition about design, consumption and identity in contemporary culture, running from 19 October until 14 January 2001. Through case studies of global brand names, it will explore the relationship between branding, advertising and consumer attitudes to goods.

Venue: Victoria and Albert Museum, South Kensington, London SW7.

Dreaming in Digital2 exhibits work by artist Nic Barlow from 18-29 October. Barlow digitally merges photography and painting and claims to be a departure from conventional photography and straight image manipulation.

Venue: the.gallery@oxo, Oxo Tower Wharf, Bargehouse Street, London SE1.

Artville is an exhibition of art from Pentonville prison, featuring the work of prisoners both past and present, ex-prisoners now studying art and prison staff. Paintings, prints, ceramics and computer generated imagery will be exhibited from 16 October to 8 November.
