Lumsden fills graphics post

Environmental design consultancy Lumsden Design has appointed Dan Ray as head of graphics. He joins from Point of Difference, where he was creative director. Ray replaces Charles Allan, who joined FutureBrand as creative director (DW 25 August).

Ray has extensive design experience in a variety of design disciplines, from digital media and Internet consultancy to strategic design and brand implementation.

‘It was Callum Lumsden’s belief in creativity and the vision of the people within Lumsden that persuaded me to join,’ says Ray. ‘And it is an opportunity for me to expand on my skills and branch into new areas.’

His immediate priority is to undertake strategy work on the redesign of both interiors and exteriors for a shop at the Roman Baths in Bath.
