Rodney Fitch & Co is creating the branding and identity for new urban development, Belfast Odyssey, part of the Sheridan leisure group. Situated in Belfast’s docks, the complex will include a children’s science centre, cinema, restaurants and shops, plus a 10 000-capacity indoor arena.
The group is creating an interactive environment with multimedia points, special effects and lighting. These will link to live events, promotions and brand sponsorship. The consultancy is also researching local culture, heritage and topography.
London consultancy The Attik has created branding for children’s science centre W5 – referring to the ‘five W’s’ of who, what, when, where, and why. This follows work with The Museums and Galleries of Northern Ireland, which will run the centre.
The Attik is currently working on interior elements at the centre with Hands On Inc, a Florida consultancy which specialises in exhibits for children.
