We’ll raise a glass to Alan – and won’t forget his example

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of the loss of Alan Fletcher.

I am sure I will echo the thoughts of the many designers and staff who were fortunate to have worked at Pentagram and experienced the phenomenon that was Alan. His legacy of advice and example has inspired and created many of the very best designers working today, and will continue to do so for ever more.

None of us will forget the warmth beneath that gruff exterior, and I am sure that many will raise a glass of Prosecco, smile, and vow ‘to get younger as we get older’.
