Aukett to add interiors arm

Michael Aukett Architects is replicating the mix of disciplines offered by Aukett Associates with the addition of Graham Tytherleigh, who will run an independent interiors group.

For the past eight years Tytherleigh has acted as an independent

consultant. As managing director of Aukett he plans to build a

six-strong interiors team to work on a broad range of interiors environments.

Tytherleigh will be working on aspects of a new Tesco site being designed by Michael Aukett Architects and on the interiors of a new office building designed by Aukett for Slough Estates.

“We don’t intend to become a big group but will keep it small and familiar,” says Aukett, who left 400-strong Aukett Associates last year.
