Turner Duckworth leaves offices without rubbers

Don’t try calling Turner Duckworth’s London or San Francisco offices for the next few days.

To celebrate ten years in business, the entire company is being flown out to New Orleans in the US this Thursday for a week-long conference and mardi gras.

While the team enjoys gumbo stew and swamp-rock, clients can take a DIY approach to design problems.

The consultancy has sent out a tin-boxed kit comprising an artfully chewed pencil (for ‘inspiration’), a rubber called ‘creative director’, some ‘don’t panic’ project management post-its, a miniature white board (for ‘brand strategy’) and a palette of five crayons: black, new black, kinda black, warm black and vibrant black.

Suppose it’s better than leaving a light on.
