Expo 2000 Boyle identity

Dublin consultancy Boyle Design Group has created the identity for the £9.1m Irish Pavilion for Expo 2000, which opens in Hanover this June.

Showcasing the best and most positive aspects of Irish talent, the pavilion is expected to attract 40 million visitors during its five month run. The group has developed signage, promotional literature, launch materials and interiors for it.

Boyle business development manager Áine McPeake says: “We have no doubt that our design depicts Ireland as it is today – dynamic, confident, prosperous and steeped in rich tradition.”

Meanwhile, Deepend London’s moving image team is designing a series of video installation pieces for the 21st Century Pavilion at Expo 2000. Set in the year 2030, it includes a virtual conferencing table combining graphic, 3D and film sequences to display global interactive conferencing in the future.
