Fitch has continued its long-term restructuring programme by promoting operations director Giles Marking and sales and marketing director John Harrison, both based in London, to the role of joint managing director.

The duo takes over from European chief executive Jean-Francois Bentz, who has been filling in at the London office. Bentz will now focus on integrating Peclers, the French design group Fitch bought this spring (DW 15 May).

A Fitch spokeswoman says the promotions are the result of gradual change over five years. Marking and Harrison will continue to work on major client accounts.
