Saatchis profits up

Advertising network Saatchi & Saatchi, which owns design and production arm The Facilities Group and Saatchi & Saatchi Design, has announced pre-tax profits of 20.6m for the first six months to 30 June. These are its first results since demerging from Cordiant Group in December.

However, in the UK, revenue decreased from 31.3m in 1997 to 30.6m. Siegel & Gale bought itself out from Saatchis for 20.4m earlier this summer (DW 12 June).

Saatchi & Saatchi Design has created the annual report for Bulmers, the world’s biggest cider-maker.
