Hey Moscow identifies Moving Pictures exhibition

The identity for the British Film Industry’s Moving Pictures exhibition, created by Hey Moscow, was launched this week.

The two-year UK exhibition, which begins its tour in Sheffield in February, is a celebration of film and television. Among the exhibits will be the dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in Some Like it Hot and Zippy and George from children’s television series Rainbow.

The consultancy has also designed promotional material, including posters and leaflets, and signage in support of the exhibition’s opening. It will do the same for all following venues. In addition, it will design regional advertising and a direct mail campaign.

‘With the identity we tried to steer away from film and television influences, which would have been too obvious. The identity is contemporary with a wide appeal,’ says Hey Moscow creative director John Laing.
