Design House gets the dough

Design House has been appointed to review the brand identity and store design of Lyndale Foods’ 230-strong bakery chain. The London consultancy won a proposals pitch against two unnamed groups for the chain, which is based in the north west of England.

Lyndale Foods was formed last May out of four different companies operating under six brands. “It’s a tough project as the market is highly competitive. We want a fresh look to equip us best for the modern world,” says Lyndale Foods retail director Nigel Law.

The first of the revamped stores is due to reopen in June.
