Woodhouse chain to grow

Menswear retailer Woodhouse has appointed Noble Associates to create a new interiors concept to support a planned expansion.

The chain, previously part of the Amber Day group but now back in the hands of its founder and managing director Philip Start, has stores in London and Manchester.

Woodhouse has recently kept a low profile. As well as an expansion of stores, the chain is planning an extension of its own- brand clothing, says designer Graeme Noble. It is also thinking of opening a store dedicated solely to its own-brand range.

As a partner at Hanson Noble Architects, Noble was responsible for previous Woodhouse stores in the 1970s and 1980s.
