Fresh package for Siebert Head

Siebert Head creative director Keren House has been appointed joint managing director alongside John Parsons, as the consultancy looks to place greater emphasis on creativity.

House joined the group from Design Bridge in 1998, following a strategic review of Siebert Head by its senior management team.

Parsons explains: “This appointment is the sensible recognition that both a left and right brain approach are essential ingredients in the management of a successful design consultancy.”

“As manufacturers face increasing competition in the 21st century, greater importance will be placed on the role of branding and its undeniable influence on consumer choice,” adds House.

In addition, Siebert Head planning and development director Simon Sholl has been appointed to the consultancy’s board of directors.

Meanwhile, Siebert Head has won two Mobius statuettes for outstanding packaging design at Chicago’s prestigious Mobius Advertising Awards.

The consultancy took top honours for its Safeway Malt Whisky design, winning first prize under the category Food and Beverage Packaging, sub-category Beer, Wine and Liquor. The innovative Phileas Fogg Tortilla Chips pack design also came first, under the sub-category of Snacks and Confectionery.
