Buyout creates Newton EH6

Edinburgh group Newton Creative has reached an agreement to acquire fellow local consultancy EH6 from its parent company The Silvermills Group.

Under the deal, all four creative staff from EH6 will transfer to Newton Creative’s offices, with EH6 managing director Ian McIlroy becoming creative director of the group, renamed Newton EH6. The current EH6 sales team faces redundancy when the deal is finalised on 1 August.

A further three recruits are to be sought, to join the former EH6 staff and the nine workers from Newton Creative.
