Exhibition enlivens Manchester Museum

The multi-award winning Science for Life exhibition designed by MET Studio Design in 1993 for charity the Wellcome Trust has been moved from the trust’s London headquarters to The Manchester Museum. Currently showing the results of a £19.5m refurbishment, the museum also has a number of new galleries and displays, with a second phase opening planned for early 2002.

Science for Life is a scientifically exact study of biomedical science through the ages. The exhibition attracted up to 21 000 visitors per year, and positive reviews, while stationed in London.
