Ramskill post to stay vacant

Boots The Chemists will not replace its brand design advisor, Peter Ramskill, who resigned last month (DW 23 June).

Ramskill, who has headed graphics and branding at Boots for 12 years, alongside marketing services head Mike Parker and Joanne Millington, who oversees brand environments, is launching a graphics group in Nottingham, called Pete Ramskill Design.

“We are not looking for a replacement directly. Peter fulfilled a consultancy role in design – his responsibilities will be shared out,” says a Boots spokeswoman. She suggests that Ramskill’s role is likely to be split between Parker, Millington, and other in-house staff.
