I think there’s confusion as to what constitutes a “retail” pack in your retail survey, The Big Picture.

We believe that to achieve a true picture of the retail market, your survey should state that it is packaging design created for a retailer as opposed to a manufacturer.

It was somewhat surprising to see a bottle of Martell and a range of Organic Matters milks featured as examples of retail packaging.

If all forms of packaging are acceptable in the survey we will end up with the usual top ten packaging designers and have no clear idea as to the design activity in retail. Please clarify!

Otherwise it was a very informative and interesting survey.
