Ormonde Jayne, the perfume shop in London’s Old Bond Street, is to undergo a brand redesign and interior makeover, courtesy of Caulder Moore.
Caulder Moore was appointed to the task in April, and will implement a redesign of both the one-off store’s interior and its perfume and product packaging, to coincide with the launch of a scent at the end of July.
The new look for the retailer will emphasise the luxury, high-end nature of Ormonde Jayne’s products, which include perfumes, scented candles, oils and essences.
‘Ormonde Jayne has all these beautiful products and wants to bring the brand in line to reflect that,’ said a spokeswoman for Caulder Moore.
‘We’re bringing a more luxurious quality and the aspect of discovery to the brand, so you can sense and feel that all the ingredients gathered on [founder] Linda Pilkington’s travels are put into the products.’
Currently, Ormonde Jayne’s Old Bond Street store features oriental-style design. Caulder Moore said the made-over store, which will open in September, will have a broader feel of exoticism to it.
The consultancy will design the space, plus window graphics, layout and lighting, as well as the packing and branding for the store’s products.
