Granada whets early appetites

Motorway service station operator Granada Road Services is rolling out a point-of-sale campaign designed by Glazer to sell more breakfasts.

The copy-led campaign promoting themed breakfasts was first tested at Tamworth and later at Toddington and Birmingham.

A sales jump of 15 per cent for “Full English” and a more than doubling of sales of “American” breakfasts have persuaded Granada to roll out the campaign to all its 39 service areas.

Granada Road Services sales and marketing manager Sue Powell says: “The breakfast campaign has been a great success during the trials and we are confident it will deliver the same results in a nationwide roll-out.”

Glazer has also been working with the client on promotional materials to support branded food outlets at its service areas, such as Burger King. And Glazer is producing a design manual to implement Pentagram’s Granada Road Services identity.
