Design Bridge has created the corporate identity for a newly formed bus company in Holland, to be launched on 24 May.
Connexxion is a merger of four bus companies, following the denationalisation of the Dutch public transport system. It will compete against two major rivals.
“We created a language to bring the four companies together and produce a market leader. In Holland the Dutch public’s expectations of public transport is high so we developed the idea of the experience of it,” says a Design Bridge spokesman.
“The name Connexxion reflects the aim of bringing people together, getting them from A to B, and providing the vital link,” the spokesman adds.
With distinctive lime and dark greens adorning the buses, the consultancy spokesman expects them to form “a familiar part of the Dutch landscape”.
