Fat exposure at NABS brings in big money

Excellent rugby, lots of money and three male streakers marked a record-breaking day at the recent National Advertising Benevolence Society Rugby Sevens.

Hosted at the Richmond Athletic ground, over 49 000 was raised as 40 teams battled it out for the three trophies.

In the main trophy event, TBWA narrowly beat AMV 31-28, while Mirror Group took victory in the plate competition, beating More Group.

In the inaugural Cosmopolitan Womens’ Sevens, Perspectives, led by ex-Wasps captain Sara Parsonage, thrashed Saatchi and Saatchi 25-0. But credit must go to both teams who were not distracted by three ‘fat blokes’ who streaked across the pitch, or the Cosmopolitan-sponsored pink shirts worn by the referees.
