Visitors to London’s Barbican issued safety warning

Visitors to London’s newly refurbished Barbican should proceed with care when navigating the building. With an already complex system of floor levels, that confusingly boasts three ‘negative’ levels, visitors now face a re-routing between levels 0 and -1. Access to underground ‘level -1’ will now be via a ‘diagonal staircase at the opposite end of the foyer from the Silk Street entrance.’ We advise using satellite navigation.
