Hobies restaurant in Eastbourne

Hobies, a proposed chain of restaurants with its first site in Eastbourne, is to open further outlets using a design format devised by Brighton group MED Design Consultants.

Serving “torpedo style” sandwiches, the chain is attempting to differentiate itself from burger restaurants while matching their speed of service.

Product packaging was developed by Mark Wills, one of the founding partners of Hobies.

A second unit is currently under consideration in Brighton, with further units in the London area and Kent a possibility. MED has been retained to develop further units.
