Renfrew starts Bio joint venture

Renfrew Group and biotechnology consultancy Ivotech has set up Bio Design Group, a joint venture to offer product design and biotech development skills to the healthcare industry.

It is led by Renfrew Group founder Bruce Renfrew and Ivotech founder Christopher Stanley.

It has been formed to deliver a solution to a ‘rapidly growing problem faced by technology companies’ of finding a partner that can convert biotechnology and medical device concepts into manufacturable products.

Having designers and technologists together means it can bring skills into the commercialisation process earlier, Renfrew says.
