Rowland interiors for Bosch site

Rowland Design is creating interior concepts for the headquarters of technology company Robert Bosch, which will be implemented over a phased period beginning next year.

The consultancy is working on outlines for the ground floor of the Middlesex site and the proposals may then be extended to the rest of the premises, according to Rowland Design project designer Gillian Douglas.

‘We are creating the concepts so that Bosch gets a clear understanding of what it can do with it. The idea is that it integrates the concepts across the rest of the building,’ says Douglas.

The ground floor work incorporates the reception area, the general office, a meeting suite, a ‘break-out café’, and an integrated digital and product display area, which also includes a store selling Bosch products.

The consultancy has been briefed to include Bosch products and images throughout the design proposals.

Bosch has yet to decide on exactly when work will start.

The consultancy won the work without a pitch.
