The Professor’s Dream, until 25 September, focuses on the contribution that Charles Robert Cockerell made to the training of architects in the UK. He was a professor at the Royal Academy from 1839-1859.

Dutch artist Folkert De Jong is holding his first UK exhibition called Medussa’s First Move: The Council until 15 May. It features life-size figurative sculptures made of polyurethane foam.

Beatrix Potter’s Garden, until 8 May, provides insight into the life and works of the author and illustrator. The exhibition presents original watercolour paintings and books, alongside giant characters and a virtual tour of the Lake District.
