Athletic project for Hodgkinson

First Division football club Charlton Athletic has appointed Hodgkinson & Co to create a new 186m2 sports shop at the entrance to the club’s ground. The consultancy won a three-way creative pitch.

The store is scheduled to open on 21 September. It will sell all club merchandise as well as other sporting accessories and branded sportswear.

It is Hodgkinson’s first project for a football club.

Sunderland Association Football Club is meanwhile preparing to open a sports bar and diner by Torres Design, which was recently acquired by Revolution.

Carling Premiership starts the new football season with a revamped logo which was created by Design Bridge.
