Lease Plan offers “upfront quotations”, unlike its competitors, and is “known to be innovative and different”, according to a Lease Plan spokeswoman.

“We wanted to get away from the usual dull images used in this market,” she says.

The visuals appear on 21 product leaflets designed by the consltancy and aim to “characterise Lease Plan, to mark it as a company with an individual approach”, says DMB&B head of design Susan Marshall.

“We wanted to use interesting angles and colours and an unusual way of art directing, to create a bold and impactful message,” she adds.

The images are all based on a series of visual puns, for example the leaflet for daily rental features a picnic basket, and the accident management leaflet shows the image of a hazard warning sign.

Lease Plan has a fleet of 65 000 vehicles in the UK.
