Acclaimed photographer Wolfgang Tillmans presented Ania Dabrowska with the first prize in this year’s Observer Hodge Photographic Award for her portfolio ‘Freedom is a big word: South Africa 2003’ (pictured). MarinaTex, an organic and biodegradable alternative to traditional plastic, was developed by University of Sussex student Lucy Hughes.
The visual identity combines the club’s “illustrious heritage” and “future glory” with an eye to digital platforms and more casual fans.
The week-long festival will also host speakers including interaction design expert Daljit Singh and representatives from Heatherwick Studio.
