Big Idea Brand Management, in collaboration with Mint Design, has created a brand identity and visual language for Seamless Recordings, the dance compilations specialist. The company plans to branch out into events organisation and club nights in 2004 and needed ‘a clear brand strategy and brand guidelines’, says Big Idea creative director Bill Wallsgrove, who has co-directed the first in a series of animated advertisements for the company. The first sleeve to sport the new livery, Al Fresco (pictured), has been designed and illustrated by Scott Mint, who also created packaging for the release. The Al Fresco compilation is released this week and will be available from music retailers and ‘lifestyle’ retailers including The Conran Shop.
