CLN takes top Premier Award

Citigate Lloyd Northover has scooped top honours in Premier Paper’s annual design awards. CLN was overall winner in the design section for its Freeserve annual report.

This year the name has been changed to the Premier Awards – it was previously known as the Galerie Awards.

The judges said CLN’s report, designed by Malcolm Metcalfe, with Paula Beardsley as project manager, has “an interesting format and great photography”.

Other winners were Leftside Design for Leftside magazine, Tequila for the Stone photolibrary mailer, Radley Yeldar for Change brochure and Flag Communications for the Railtrack brochure.

Student awards went to Neil Ramsbottom of Blackburn College for Milk, and Chris Vincenty of Reading School of Art & Design for a GM foods poster campaign.

The judges in the design section were John Bateson of Roundel, Phil Carter of Carter Wong Tomlin; Simon Robertson of Identity; and Lynn Trickett of Trickett & Webb.
