Digital groups merge to create Wheel

Wheel, described by its founders as a “new breed of consultancy”, was officially launched last week, following the merger in June of London digital media consultancies Pres.co and Foresight. Branding is by design consultancy Lambie-Nairn.

The merger creates a 380-strong company offering consultancy, digital communications, marketing and technical skills to a range of clients that are not, says Wheel chief executive Philip Redding, marginalised to one particular sector.

“As independent companies we both had a very complementary client base with very little overlap,” explains Redding.

“Over the past 12 months we have seen clients demanding a much more multidisciplinary level of thinking and that’s what we want to respond to,” he adds.

Wheel is looking for further staff to work across all areas.
