School of Things; Zdenek Lhotsky and Sylva Petrova

Curator Simon Groom highlights the work of Japanese association of artists Mono Ha at School of Things on 20 February. The latest in the Art & Architecture public lecture series, Groom’s talk looks at the ways in which the group sought non-formalist and non-interventionist art forms based on the laws of nature.

Czech designer Zdenek Lhotsky shows the development of original mold-melted glass techniques and how they are used in design, sculpture and architecture, on 19 February from 5-6.30pm. Sylva Petrova follows with the launch of her book Czech Glass, defining glassmakers of the past 55 years, from 6.30-8.30pm.
